The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named edge rusher, a need the Saints walked right past. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

They banked enough surplus on Mustapha to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Saints clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
