Larceny in pick No. 142 lands the Panthers a B, Williams and all.

Somebody in the 142nd pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Panthers sat still while Tyleik Williams, the No. 83 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Every board in the league had Scourton lower, and that gap is the story.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
