The trade table was a mismatch, and the Jets were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

They will need Rosengarten to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Tee Higgins pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
