Somebody in the Round 6 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The 49ers sat still while Isaiah Davis, the No. 155 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Vaki has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
