Call it larceny. Drew Allar sat on the board until the 147th pick, and the Browns did not need to be asked twice.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The cost of the Adebawore reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Steve Avila deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
