The real work happened on the phones. The Chiefs fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The Jones pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. On value alone, Satuala makes the weekend a net positive. The Satuala pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end and quarterback.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.
