The Bengals won the night they stopped Holker from sliding. Grade: B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Dallin Holker at the 194th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They will need Spann-Ford to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
