The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chiefs watched Trevor Keegan slide 65 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Brandon Coleman in No. 131 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

The board fumbled Javon Solomon all the way to the 159th overall pick, and they scooped it up. The roster logic is harder to follow.
