The Chargers robbed the room for Simpson. Final grade: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jaylin Simpson tumbling to the Chargers in pick 208 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Every board in the league had Duke lower, and that gap is the story. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
