When a board-topper like Malaki Starks slides to the Round 2 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Commanders did not. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
