The Bears bet the future on Williams. The board says D-.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The Johnson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
