A sensible, unshowy class lands the Dolphins a B+.

There is reaching, and then there is Joey Aguilar at the 227th overall pick. The Dolphins jumped the board by 56 and dared it to prove them wrong.

On value alone, Taaffe makes the weekend a net positive. It is not that Abney II is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
