The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Oladapo pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
