The rest of the league will want that one back. Ollie Gordon II tumbling to the Commanders in the 237th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

If Griffith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
