The Commanders let King fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Kobe King at slot 238 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Mukuba pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, quarterback and other spots still on the board. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. If Baron pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The Commanders paired the rookies with proven help, Olumuyiwa Fashanu leading the way.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
