The rest of the league had time to spare on Jaleel Skinner; the Texans did not wait, grabbing him 91 spots ahead at the Round 7 slot. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
