The Jaguars did not so much draft Javontae Jean-Baptiste as overpay for him, 34 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Rosemy-Jacksaint steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
