The real work happened on the phones. The Jaguars fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

It is not that Robinson is a bad player; it is that the Jaguars had louder needs to answer first. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Every board in the league had Van Pran lower, and that gap is the story.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
