It is the swing that defines the weekend: Kedon Slovis in the 231st overall pick, a good 74 spots before the room expected him. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
