If confidence were a draft strategy, the Patriots would have aced it. Kedon Slovis at the 229th pick is 85 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Mims falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
