Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureB-
The Browns won the night they stopped Chambliss from sliding. Grade: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Browns were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Johnson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Landing Chambliss that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. Tristan Wirfs gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick6 Rnd1 Carnell Tate
In Round 1, Pick 6 they get a difference-maker at receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick39 Rnd2 Kenyon Sadiq
They robbed the room for Kenyon Sadiq here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick70 Rnd3 Max Klare
The board had Max Klare higher than the 70th pick, and the tight end fell to them anyway. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick112 Rnd4 Caden Curry
A slide stopped in the 112th overall pick, with Caden Curry worth more than the price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick114 Rnd4 Bryce Lance
Bryce Lance in slot 114 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick139 Rnd5 Trinidad Chambliss
Trinidad Chambliss in pick 139 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick144 Rnd5 Max Iheanachor
They did well to land Max Iheanachor in the 144th pick, just ahead of his grade. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick147 Rnd5 Connor Tollison
No edge and no loss on Connor Tollison in Round 5, Pick 9; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick177 Rnd5 DJ Campbell
DJ Campbell at No. 177 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick204 Rnd6 Dijon Johnson
They left a pile of value on the table to take Dijon Johnson this early at the 204th overall pick. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick248 Rnd7 Jordan Hall
A straight-up fair deal on Jordan Hall at the Round 7 slot, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
