The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named cornerback, a need the Lions walked right past.

If Foster pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Getting Curry where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
