They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Reaching for Jordan left real value on the table behind him. That Oladapo pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
