For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Broncos walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Perkins Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If Keenan III pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
