Getting Weigman where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
