A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a A- weekend for the Patriots.

The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

Landing Pearsall that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The phones were where this weekend was really won. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The Tagovailoa pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
