The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Cam Skattebo fell into pick No. 233. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Christian Darrisaw pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
