Maye is the Patriots' new face under center. Grade: B+.

Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Landing Robinson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. It is not that Hunt is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
