Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Getting Trotter Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Every board in the league had Paul lower, and that gap is the story.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
