You build a draft on nights like this. Jordan Phillips had no business being available in No. 143, and the Jaguars did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It washes out to a C, no better and no worse.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
