After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Bo Nix is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. It is not that Jones is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first.

They banked enough surplus on Jordan to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
