The Patriots drew a line under the quarterback search with Williams: B+.

The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Caleb Williams, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

However the rest shakes out, Coleman at that price is a win they earned. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. With edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
