The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

They are betting Jordan proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
