The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

It is not that Stover is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first. The Wiggins steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Clark pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
