Larceny in the Round 3 slot lands the Patriots a A-, Bullard and all.

Whoever sat across the table from the Patriots should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

Landing Bullard that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The Patriots indulged a want in Stover while a need in interior defensive lineman and tight end stayed open.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
