Nobody dealt better than the Patriots this weekend: A-.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Patriots came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

It is not that McKinstry is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That McKinstry pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Nate Wiggins and all.
