The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Burton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
