Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Patriots to leave a draft.

The Lovett steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The McCarthy pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
