The Patriots finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Jackson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They will need Paul to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
