Boards are made to be trusted, and the Texans shredded theirs for Desmond Watson. He came off 70 spots early, and the room will hear about it. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
