The Texans did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Texans spent real capital to be 36 picks early on De'Corian Clark, and the board is going to hold them to it. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging.

Watson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
