The Texans spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Adonai Mitchell, the No. 31 name on the board, in the Round 2 slot. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Reaching for McLachlan left real value on the table behind him. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
