Nobody else had Jordan Jefferson anywhere near the 127th pick. The Texans did, by 56 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Benson. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

With edge rusher, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
