Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Luke McCaffrey got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at slot 224. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Watson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
