The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Keon Coleman slide 61 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Reaching for McLachlan left real value on the table behind him.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
