The Texans let Tampa fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. T.J. Tampa had no business being available in slot 86, and the Texans did the only sane thing and turned in the card. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The Hartman reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
