If confidence were a draft strategy, the Texans would have aced it. Jalyx Hunt at Round 4, Pick 27 is 24 spots clear of where he belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Braswell. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
