Call it larceny. Steele Chambers sat on the board until slot 237, and the Bengals did not need to be asked twice.

They will need Sinnott to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
