You build a draft on nights like this. Dylan Sampson had no business being available in Round 6, Pick 10, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Lacy has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
