Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall D-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesF FutureC
Quarterback settled, Daniels in the fold, and a D- for the Raiders.

The Raiders lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The Rouse pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels in slot 4 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick44 Rnd2 Devontez Walker
They did well to land Devontez Walker in the Round 2 slot, just ahead of his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick77 Rnd3 Christian Haynes
They took Christian Haynes at par in pick No. 77, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick112 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
A conviction pick on Khyree Jackson at the 112th pick that the board grades a round light. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick150 Rnd5 Javion Cohen
A quiet steal in No. 150: Javion Cohen for less than the market said. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick190 Rnd6 T.J. Sanders
T.J. Sanders at pick 190 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick234 Rnd7 Walter Rouse
They reached a country mile for Walter Rouse at the 234th overall pick, and the board is aghast. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
